Panna Cotta

Ingredients

1 1/4 L cream
125 g sugar
2 vanilla pods or 3-4 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp of gelatine, soaked in cold water

Method

  1. Mix the cream, sugar and vanilla pods/extract in a small pot. Heat the mixture slowly and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and take out the vanilla pods.
  2. Add the gelatine to the mixture. Pour into portion moulds and chill.
  3. Once the cream has set, gently loosen from the sides of the moulds and turn out onto dessert plates. Serve with fresh fruit or a fruit compote.
